in the run up to christmas, uk royal mail delivers more than 160 million cards, letters and packets per day - approximately double the number delivered on an average day. e-cards not only save paper, they reduce the need for extra trucks to deliver them.
especially when the packaging is plastic and use bio-degradable or recycled wrapping. use paper gift wrap instead of foil or plastic alternatives. better still, use old newspaper to create an interesting eco-friendly present. when you're done, recycle your gift wrap don't throw it on the fire.
